Sailing

I learned to sail in my dad's dinghy in the Lake District and on the Marine Lake in Southport where I grew up. Sailing has been a dream of mine since primary school - I loved sailing even before I ever did. I love boats of all sizes, but most of all I would like to own a 30' yacht and sail it around various coasts and seas - Australia & the Great Barrier Reef, perhaps Malaysia and other parts of the Pacific, all around the north and south Mediterranean (especially the Greek Islands), Scotland and the Hebrides.

I have been living in Australia since May of '02. I have kept a log of my experiences and travels so far: My Travel Log. Hopefully there is a lot more to come! We are headed up to Queensland very soon now, where we will hopefully finally get some wheels...
